Perforated Handbags
Perforated handbags made a big hit with the Louis Vuitton Perforated Handbag Line and now the genius and sometimes off-his-rocker designer, Jean Paul Gaultier, is introducing a line of perforated handbags for Spring/Summer 2007. Though oddly done, bordering on the line of cheaply done. And even though it looks like one of them cheap bags, I think I kinda like it, I appreciate art and the concept behide this perforated number, the spade, diamond, heart, and club cutouts can be seen only if the bag were within 3 feet of you, Then you'd be able to see the shaped perforations. Of the two, I'd pick the Jean Paul Gaultier Perforated Shopper over the Jean Paul Gaultier Perforated Cabas Bag because at least the shape is decent. The shopper looks like pleather, skimpy, and hole-y. Via eLuxury. ($855 for the Cabas and $815 for the Shopper)
